Kat Martin is a bestselling author of over forty Historical and Contemporary Romance novels. To date, Kat has over ten million copies of her books in print and has been published in seventeen foreign countries, including: Germany, Norway, Sweden, China, Korea, Bulgaria, Russia, England, South Africa, Italy, Spain, Argentina, and Greece.

Kat began her career writing historical romance and then began writing romantic suspense. HEART OF FIRE, Kat’s next historical romance book will be released December 27, 2007. It’s the second book in the passionate Heart trilogy set in London England that began with HEART OF HONOR.

Kat’s most recent romantic suspense book, THE SUMMIT, began selling in July 2007. It is the second of a series of three paranormal stories. SCENT OF ROSES, the first book in the series, was released in July 2006. The final book titled, SEASON OF STRANGERS, will be released on June 26th, 2008. Each story involves ordinary women who have experienced an extraordinary event.

Kat graduated from the University of California at Santa Barbara, where she majored in Anthropology and History. Before she started writing in 1985, she was a real estate broker. Currently, she lives in Missoula, Montana with her husband.
